The Lehigh Valley Black Church Housing Alliance (LVBCHA) is a 501(c)(3) non-profit committed to educating, equipping, and empowering individuals and families to achieve homeownership and long-term housing stability.
Founded on principles of advocacy, community partnership, and economic empowerment, LVBCHA provides HUD-certified housing counseling to ensure every person—regardless of background—has the tools and knowledge necessary to purchase and keep a home.
Our work is grounded in four core pillars:
1. Education
We offer comprehensive homebuyer courses, workshops, and one-on-one coaching that demystify the homebuying process.
2. Financial Readiness
Through credit counseling and budgeting support, we help individuals strengthen their financial profile and prepare for mortgage approval.
3. Empowerment
We believe homeownership changes lives. Our programs are designed to build confidence, stability, and generational wealth.
4. Community Partnership
We collaborate with banks, nonprofits, churches, and civic organizations to expand access and opportunity across the Lehigh Valley.
